Attorneys Mr. Martti Brander and Mr. Matti Manner founded the Brander & Manner Attorneys at Law Ltd. in 1980. Both the founding members are still active in the company. Other later partners include attorney Mr. Juha Manner and attorney, Ph.D. Raimo Immonen. Our office has steadily grown to one of Finland’s leading law firms.

 

Already in the beginning B&M focused on corporate law: contracts, company and tax law, M&A, insolvency law and solving disputes concerning these areas of law. We have been able to respond well to the growing need of business law services, which is due to the internationalisation of companies during the past couple of years. In addition to our expertise in business law, we widely know general jurisprudence, such as family and inheritance law and all kinds of court procedures.

 

We have established a steady position as a capable and reliable corporate law speciality firm. Our clientele is stable and consists of both domestic and international companies and private persons.

 

In addition to the main office in Turku, B&M has offices in Rauma and Helsinki.

Each client has different needs. It is crucial to take care of the individual interests even in difficult matters. Therefore all of our lawyers have a good command of general law. In addition our lawyers have specialised in the fields of law which we find important. Because the quality of the law office’s actions is determined by its weakest link, we train our staff continually and encourage them to even better achievements. We are strictly committed to the national and international high ethics rules of attorneys.

 

The function of B&M is based on steady and long-term relationships, but also on teamwork. Whenever needed, we establish a multi-lawyer project group to be able to offer the widest professional outlook and expertise possible.

We feel that it is not always in the client’s best interest to fight over occurring problems. Often it is a lot more satisfying to get to an understanding both parties can agree on. The costs and benefits also need to be in reasonable proportion to each other.
