After graduating in Civil Law and Economics from Saint-Joseph University – Beirut, he was admitted to the Beirut Bar Association in 1951.

 

From 1953 to 1963, he served as a judge, and acted, inter alia, as President of the First Instance Civil Court of Beirut (Civil and Commercial chambers) and First President of the First Instance Court of Mount-Lebanon.

 

In 1963, he left the public sector and founded his firm with its offices located in Beirut, and acted as the legal adviser and attorney for several major and preeminent individuals, commercial companies, institutions and banks

 

Until 1975, he lectured commercial, civil, financial and labor laws at several reputed Lebanese university and school: Faculty of Law of Saint-Joseph University – Beirut, Faculty of Law of the Lebanese University, Ecole Supérieure des Ingénieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB), Pigier commercial school…

 

He is the author of several legal notes and articles, and the co-author of a book on bankruptcy regulation under the Lebanese law.
