Before becoming a partner of B&M, Mr. Immonen worked as a lawyer and negotiating lawyer at Asianajotalo Lehtonen, Malinen, Moisio law firm, senior assistant and professor of company law at Turku School of Economics and Business Administration, professor of company law at the Lappeenranta University of Technology, professor of tax law at the University of Turku and director of administration at Turku School of Economics and Business Administration.

 

Mr. Immonen’s trustee posts include president of the Tax Office for Majour Corporations correction committee, community law expert member of the Auditing Board of the State, vice president of Turku Chamber of Commerce’s law and mediation committees, counsel of Turku School of Economics and Business Administration's support fund. Mr. Immonen is also docent of corporate taxation at the University of Turku and docent of company law at the Lappeenranta University of Technology.

 

Mr. Immonen has written several books, including The Tax Treatment of Mergers (1992), Mergers and Acquisitions (2000), Precedents of Company Taxation (2000), Company Forms and Business (2002) and Successful Generation Switch (2004, together with J. Lindgren). In addition his articles have been published in several law magazines.
